Everwell Health, a supplier of functional wellness ingredients, has released a new interactive report, “Vitality from the Inside Out,” sharing insights on how cellular function is fueling the next chapter of healthy aging research and marketing.

The report examines how consumers are prioritizing longevity and healthspan, and what it actually means to them to age well. More consumers than ever are making healthy aging a priority and looking inward for wellness support, and measures of cellular function are generating interest from consumers who make connections to how they look, feel, and perform, Everwell Health reported. For instance, launches of cellular health-positioned supplements, like those with claims related to mitochondrial health, have grown 50% year-over-year from 2024 to 2025, the company noted.

“Consumers are increasingly looking to support their healthspan. They want to make the most of their years and continue doing the activities that they love throughout their life,” said Jordan Miller, chief marketing officer of Everwell Health. “Our new report underscores the idea that longevity isn’t just about adding years to life, but about adding a higher quality of life to those years. As we age, gradual decreases in energy, physical performance, cardiovascular function, sexual health, and cognitive performance may occur before people even realize what is happening inside. Inefficient cellular function and decreasing nitric oxide production can contribute to this decreased vitality. That is why Everwell Health developed this report to spotlight how our ingredients work through an important yet less visible area of our health, helping consumers maintain vitality longer into their lifespans. We believe cellular function represents the next chapter in wellness, and our ingredients can help brands answer the call for proactive healthy aging support, so consumers live their fullest lives.”

In the new report, Everwell Health discusses how changes in cellular function and nitric oxide production may affect what consumers experience as they age. The report also provides insight into how these age-related biological changes affect vitality and which supplements can make a difference in this area.

“VitaliG, formerly known as GG-Gold, is a first-of-its-kind ingredient that we recently rebranded to better reflect its unique role in supporting healthy cellular function and vitality,” said Miller. “VitaliG is a novel source of geranylgeraniol (GG) extracted from the annatto plant. Our body produces a form of this special compound on its own, but the concentrated, active form found in VitaliG helps ensure a proper supply that the body uses to support key cellular functions, allowing us to thrive.”

The report also highlights Nitrogisine, a patented ingredient shown to help boost nitric oxide production. The body’s ability to produce nitric oxide naturally declines with age, and supporting healthy levels can help maintain energy, physical performance, cognitive function, and healthy aging, Everwell Health reported.

“As the wellness industry and the definition of healthy aging continue to evolve, Everwell Health remains committed to advancing ingredient innovation grounded in science,” said Miller. “Our portfolio provides formulators with the trusted ingredients they need to create differentiated products that meet the evolving ways consumers look to support their health and well-being both today and into the future.”
